Pokémon Timeless Diamond & Spaceless Pearl
Diamond and Pearl reimagined with a year more development: Platinum's story additions folded in, all 493 Sinnoh-era Pokémon obtainable in one save, and seven species retyped with movesets brought up to modern standards.
More about the game
Aurum's expansion of Diamond and Pearl, built around the question of what the games would look like with another year in the oven. Platinum's story beats and post-game rematches are folded into the original Sinnoh, the regional Pokédex grows to 242 species (all of Platinum's additions included) while every one of the 493 Pokémon that existed at the time can still be found somewhere in the region, and a password system unlocks bonus content over time. Seven Pokémon were given new types, and Pokémon and move stats across the board were brought up to Generation IX standards, with a Faithful patch available for anyone who wants the original Generation IV numbers instead. Reusable TMs, new evolution items in place of trade evolutions, an Advance Radar for rare encounters, and daily gym leader, Elite Four and Champion rematches round out the changes. The creator's wiki that this guide is built from covers every species and every wild encounter table in full, plus the exact, narrow set of differences between the two versions — but it never published a trainer roster of any kind, so this guide has no gym leader, Elite Four, rival or route-trainer section.
What's different, point by point
- All 493 Pokémon existing at the time obtainable somewhere in Sinnoh, across a 242-species regional Pokédex that folds in Platinum's additions
- Platinum's story expansions added on top of the original Diamond and Pearl campaign, plus new password-unlocked events
- Seven Pokémon retyped, with Pokémon and move stats updated to modern Generation IX standards (a Faithful patch keeps the originals)
- Space-time distortions scattered across Sinnoh holding fossil, legendary and mythical Pokémon, on top of the usual static and roaming encounters
- Reusable TMs, and new evolution items replacing every former trade evolution
- 130+ new move-tutor moves across ten NPCs, plus an egg-move tutor at the Day-Care
- An Advance Radar (GBA cartridge required) and a modernized Poké Radar for rarer wild encounters
- Daily gym leader, Elite Four and Champion rematches once Stark Mountain's story event is cleared

What this guide covers
Every guide here is built from the game's own documentation. Where a ROM hack changed something but never published the numbers, this says so rather than quietly filling the gap with the original game's — which would be worse than leaving it out.
| Section | Source | |
|---|---|---|
| Wild Pokémon by area | From the game itself | |
| Encounter rates | From the game itself | |
| Wild levels | From the game itself | |
| Stats, abilities and movesets | From the game itself | Every species page on the creator's wiki gives its current, in-hack stats, types, abilities, level-up learnset, TM compatibility, tutor moves and egg moves — including the seven retyped species' Complete-patch typing. |
| TM and HM compatibility | From the game itself | |
| Where TMs are found | Not published by the creator | The creator's wiki's TM/HM list is a reference list of names and effects, not a location list; no page on the creator's wiki says where a TM is picked up. the game's Discord Timeless Diamond & Spaceless Pearl is built on Diamond / Pearl; the Diamond / Pearl guide has the original game's TM locations. |
| Trainer and boss teams | Not published by the creator | No trainer, gym leader, Elite Four or rival roster is published anywhere on the creator's wiki or findable elsewhere. the game's Discord Timeless Diamond & Spaceless Pearl is built on Diamond / Pearl; the Diamond / Pearl guide has the original game's trainer teams. |

Reading the tables
SourceEvery number in this guide comes from Aurum's own documentation wiki at aurumsmods.com/tdsp/wiki — a page for every species, a page for every wild-encounter location, and reference lists for items/TMs, moves and abilities. Nothing here is filled in from the original Diamond and Pearl.
PatchesThis guide documents the Complete patch's numbers — the seven retyped species and the Generation IX-standard stats/movesets. The Faithful patch keeps Generation IV's original stats and types for those seven species instead; the comparison with the official games on each of their pages shows what changed from the original Diamond and Pearl, which is the same set of changes Faithful reverts.
TrainersThe creator's wiki has no Trainers, Gym Leaders, Elite Four or Rivals section at all, and nothing else the creator publishes has one either — so this guide has no trainer, gym leader, boss-fight or level-cap section. Ask in the Discord if a roster ever gets published.
LocationsThe creator's wiki's TM/HM page is a reference list (name and effect) and every species' own page lists its TM compatibility, but no page says where in the world a TM is picked up.
StagesNo walkthrough or story-order page exists on the creator's wiki, so almost every area here is left unplaced rather than guessed at. The handful of areas that do carry a story stage — Spear Pillar, the lake caverns, Turnback Cave, Stark Mountain's inner chamber, Snowpoint Temple, Route 221 and the roaming legendaries — are placed only because the creator's own static/roaming-encounter pages tie them to a stated requirement (a badge, Spear Pillar, or the National Pokédex); badge order and HM/rod availability otherwise go undocumented.
RatesPercentages, levels and TM/tutor/egg-move lists are all exactly as the creator's wiki tables give them.
ReleasedNot stated anywhere the creator links. The creator's wiki footer carries a "last updated" date for the documentation pages, not a release date for v1.4.7 itself.
VersionsTimeless Diamond and Spaceless Pearl share one Pokédex, one wild-encounter list and one item set. They differ in only three documented ways: which of Dialga or Palkia appears first at Spear Pillar (the other comes later, via an orb from Saturn), Deoxys's battle forme in its space-time distortion encounter, and a cosmetic ornament reward for completing the National Pokédex.
